About this experience

Lake Nakuru National Park surrounds an alkaline lake on the floor of the Rift Valley. It is a fenced sanctuary with a strong rhino population, and game drives offer opportunities to see black and white rhino, Rothschild’s giraffe, buffalo and, with luck, leopard or lion.

Flamingo numbers change with water levels, but pelicans and many other waterbirds are usually present. Viewpoints such as Baboon Cliff overlook the whole basin.
