This route focuses on Kidepo Valley. We adjust lodge choice, flight legs and the number of nights in each area to match your season and travel style.
Travel style: Frontier wilderness. Charter or long-drive logistics.
Entebbe is the main international gateway. Internal flights or scenic road transfers link primate forests, savannah parks and lakeside stops.
Uganda’s equatorial climate stays green for much of the year. Days are warm; forest treks can feel humid. Two rainy seasons — March to May and October to November — require sturdy footwear and flexible scheduling.
June to September and December to February are the most reliable trekking windows. We secure permits early and build recovery nights around forest days.
