About this experience

Nyerere National Park, created from part of the former Selous Game Reserve, is one of Africa’s largest protected areas. Its lifeline is the Rufiji River, with lakes and channels best explored by boat.

A boat safari offers opportunities to see hippo pods, large crocodiles, elephants drinking at the banks and remarkable birdlife, all at a slower pace and from a different angle than a game drive.
