About this experience

Samburu’s semi-arid landscape along the Ewaso Nyiro river is home to species rarely found further south, including reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, gerenuk and beisa oryx.

Game drives follow the river, where elephants come to drink and big cats patrol the doum palms. The rugged hills and red earth make it feel very different from the Mara.
