About this experience

The gorilla habituation experience lets a very small group join researchers and trackers as they work with a gorilla family that is still getting used to people. It is offered in the Rushaga sector of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

You can spend up to four hours with the gorillas, rather than the one hour allowed on a standard trek. The experience is slower, more immersive and gives real insight into gorilla conservation.
