About this experience

Dune 45, on the road into Sossusvlei, is one of the most photographed dunes in the Namib. Climbing its sharp crest at sunrise rewards you with views over a sea of red dunes as shadows stretch across the valley.

The climb is steep but short, and the run back down the soft sand is part of the fun.
