About this experience

Lake Mburo is a compact park of rolling grassland, acacia woodland and lakes between Kampala and the south-west. With no elephant and few large predators, it is one of the best places in Uganda to walk with a ranger among zebra, eland, impala, topi and buffalo.

Boat trips on the lake and horseback safaris offered by some lodges add variety. It is a good overnight stop on the way to Bwindi.
